FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University will host the Lead Off Classic softball tournament this weekend, February 21-22, at Lancer Field on-campus in Farmville.  The Lancers (1-3) will be joined in the event by Bucknell University (3-3) of the Patriot League, Quinnipiac University (0-0) of the Northeast Conference, and St. John's University (3-2) of the Big East Conference.  Longwood will open the two-day, eight-game schedule on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. against St. John's, with contests following at 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., including the Lancers' pairing against Quinnipiac at 2 p.m..  Longwood will play Bucknell on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 12 p.m. as games take place at the same times as Saturday.  Admission is free.
