FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University assistant men's soccer coach Mark Spooner has been named as the head coach of the Kalamazoo (Mich.) Outrage for the 2009 United Soccer League PDL season.  He helped lead the Lancers to a final record of 8-8-4 this past season, including the 2008 Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) Tournament Championship.  Spooner will continue in his role at Longwood while coaching the Outrage of the USL's Premier Development League during its upcoming May-August schedule.  For more information, visit the Kalamazoo Outrage website.
