A defensive miscue gave the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute of action. Junior Brian Germain/McLean (Langley) nearly got one in for the Lancers just four minutes later, firing a shot at goal that was saved by the Wolfpack keeper. Senior Trey Thornton/Richmond (Mills E. State's final goal in the 83rd minute. The Lancers best scoring threat in the the second half came from junior Martin Vickerton/Derbyshire, England (Kirk Hallam Technical College) in the 63rd minute. Despite putting the ball on frame, Vickerton was unable to beat the N.C. State keeper.
