FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood University freshman goalkeeper Carl Carpenter|Charlottesville (St. Anne's Belfield) is this week's Longwood Male Athlete of the Week. He currently leads the Lancers with eight saves on the season, which he registered in his collegiate debut at #17 Coastal Carolina University on August 24. Coming off the bench in the first half, Carpenter totaled 53:42 minutes of action in the first game of the season, allowing two goals on 17 shots faced for a .800 save percentage.
