Ashley Kramer was selected as the Longwood University Female Athlete of the Year for 2011-12. Ashley started all 55 games this season at shortstop and batted .327 with two home runs, eight doubles, 24 runs scored, 18 RBI and eight stolen bases. She added a team-best 15 multi-hit games along with five multi-RBI games, and had a season-best six-game hitting streak, while adding a .420 slugging percentage and a .414 on-base percentage. Ashley, a four-time Longwood Scholar-Athlete Award recipient, received her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, with a concentration in exercise science, and is the daughter of Tracey and Ted Kramer.
