The Opening Tip
•    Longwood returns to Willett Hall for its second straight home game, hosting Radford Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game is sponsored by CenturyLink.
•    The last time Longwood and Radford met in Willett Hall, Longwood pulled out a 90-79 win in double overtime. After tying the game with 23 seconds remaining in regulation and again with four seconds left in the first overtime, the Lancers outscored Radford 21-10 in the final overtime period.
•    Senior forward Shaquille Johnson is questionable for Wednesday's game with an ankle injury he suffered on Jan. 19 at Liberty.
•    Longwood's coaching staff will wear sneakers during Wednesday's game as part of the Coaches vs. Cancer program, a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Last Time Out
•    Xavier Cooks erupted for a 19-point double-double to lead second-place Winthrop past shorthanded Longwood, 82-68, Sunday at Willett Hall.
 •    Cooks filled the stat sheet with 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and a steal as the Eagles won their fifth straight to maintain a share of second place in the Big South standings.
 •    Cooks hit two of Winthrop's 10 three-pointers to help the Eagles overcome a 20-point game from Longwood sophomore Kanayo Obi-Rapu and a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double from redshirt sophomore Khris Lane.
 •    Winthrop took advantage of a shorthanded Longwood squad that was without injured forward Shaquille Johnson and was forced to limit the minutes of leading scorer Lotanna Nwogbo, who picked up two fouls in the first minute of the game.

By The Numbers
•    Longwood has outrebounded three of its past four opponents, amassing a combined margin of +4.8 rebounds per game against Coastal Carolina, Campbell, Liberty and Winthrop. Longwood is 6-4 when outrebounding the opponent this season.
•    Longwood has cut down on its turnovers over the past four games, averaging just 13.5 per game compared to 15.5 in 17 games prior. Longwood committed just nine turnovers against Winthrop Sunday, the team's second fewest this season.
•    Longwood has had the same player lead the team in scoring in back-to-back games just twice this season. Six different Lancers have led the team in scoring, including five different players in the past six games.
•    Sophomore guard Kanayo Obi-Rapu averages a team-high 18.0 points per game in Willett Hall, compared to 8.9 points per game on the road. Obi-Rapu has scored in double figures in five of his six home games, including three 20-point outbursts.
•    Obi-Rapu has hit 22 three-pointers in six home games for an average of 3.7 per game. He is shooting .489 (22-of-45) at home with at least four three-pointers in four of those games.
•    Point guard Tra'Vaughn White has scored in double figures in four straight games, his longest such stretch of the season. White, slowed by a foot injury at the start of the season and absent for six games in December with a broken hand, is averaging a team-high 15.8 points and 3.3 assists per game during that stretch.
•    Darrion Allen has hit a three-pointer in nine consecutive games and leads Longwood with a .412 (21-of-51) three-point percentage.
•    Allen has scored in double figures in five of his past seven games, averaging 10.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks per game during that span.
Allen already has a career-high nine double-figure scoring games this season.
