The Opening Tip•   After the original gametime Saturday was postponed to Sunday due to inclement weather, Longwood returns to Willett Hall after back-to-back road games to host reigning Big South runner-up Winthrop at 5 p.m. Longwood's last home game was a 76-61 win over reigning league champion Coastal Carolina.
•   Longwood is 2-3 over the past five games with two losses coming by a combined three points, falling 67-66 to Gardner-Webb and 55-53 at Liberty.
•   The last time Longwood and Winthrop met was in the semifinals of the 2015 Big South Championship. The ninth-seeded Lancers upset top-seeded Charleston Southern in the quarterfinals before Winthrop ended their season, 71-58.

Last Time Out•   An overturned foul call at the buzzer put an end to a wild finish at the Vines Center, as Liberty survived a last-minute comeback to edge Longwood 55-53 Tuesday evening.
•   Longwood trailed by nine with 23 seconds remaining, but
Tra'Vaughn White hit back-to-back three-pointers in a span of 2.7 seconds to trim that deficit to one point with eight seconds left.Â
•   After a Liberty free throw extended the lead to 55-53 with 6.3 seconds left, White went coast to coast and drew a foul driving to the basket at the buzzer.
•   Officials originally ruled the foul occurred before the buzzer, which would have sent White to the line for two free throws, but overturned the call on review citing the foul was called after time expired.
•   White finished with a game-high 18 points, while
Lotanna Nwogbo added 14 points and 10 boards.
 By The Numbers•   Longwood has outrebounded three consecutive opponents, amassing a combined margin of +7.7 rebounds per game against Coastal Carolina, Campbell and Liberty. Longwood is 6-4 when outrebounding the opponent this season.
•   Longwood has held its past seven opponents to .255 (48-of-188) shooting from three-point range with five of those seven opponents shooting under .300 from beyond the arc. In 13 games prior to that stretch, opponents shot .405 (117-of-289) from long range.
•   Redshirt senior point guard
Tra'Vaughn White has scored at least 16 points in three consecutive games and is averaging a team-high 17.3 points per game during that stretch. White, who was slowed by ankle and hand injuries prior to that stretch, is shooting .463 (19-of-41) from the field and .556 (10-of-18) from three-point range over those past three games.
•   In the 37 minutes center
Lotanna Nwogbo was on the floor against Winthrop last season, Longwood outscored the Eagles 64-62. With Nwogbo out of the lineup, the Eagles outscored Longwood 174-125.
•   In his lone meeting against Winthrop last season, Nwogbo went off for 18 points and 12 rebounds, including 11 points in the second half to force the game into overtime. Nwogbo suffered a season-ending thumb injury three games later and missed the final two meetings of 2014-15.
•   In the first game with Nwogbo in the lineup, Longwood outrebounded Winthrop 41-37. In the two games without Nwogbo, Winthrop outrebounded Longwood 85-59 (+13.0 rpg.).

Darrion Allen has scored in double figures in five of his past seven games, averaging 10.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.9 blocks per game during that span.Â
