The Opening Tip
•    Coming off back-to-back wins against Coastal Carolina and Campbell, Longwood eyes a three-game Big South win streak on the road Tuesday at Liberty at 7 p.m.
•    Longwood won three straight games against Big South foes last season, defeating Campbell in the regular season finale and Presbyterian and Charleston Southern in the 2015 Big South Tournament. Longwood last won three straight Big South regular season games in 2012-13.
•    Longwood has shot over 50.0 percent from the field in back-to-back games while holding those past two opponents under 33.0 percent shooting.
•    Seven Lancers average at least 9.0 ppg., including double-figure scorers Lotanna Nwogbo (14.2 ppg.), Kanayo Obi-Rapu (12.2), Shaquille Johnson (11.8) and Tra'Vaughn White (10.2).

Last Time Out
•    Lotanna Nwogbo scored 19 points, Shaquille Johnson added 12 points and 13 rebounds, and Longwood won its second straight game in dominant fashion, 74-57 at Campbell Thursday evening at Pope Convocation Center.
•    Coming off a 76-61 win over reigning Big South champion Coastal Carolina Saturday, Longwood led Campbell for all but the first 2:10 of the first half thanks to four double-figure scorers and a defensive effort that held the Fighting Camels to .328 (20-of-61) shooting from the field.
•    Tra'Vaughn White scored 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 11 points in the first half. Darrion Allen added 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals.
•    Chris Clemons scored a game-high 22 points for Campbell.

By The Numbers
•    Longwood has drastically improved its three-point defense over the past six games, holding each of those six opponents under .350 shooting and five of those six under .300. The Lancers have allowed those five teams to shoot just .231 (37-of-160) from long range, compared to .405 (117-of-289) in 13 games prior to that stretch.
•    In two meetings against Liberty last season, forward Shaquille Johnson averaged 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game against the Flames. Johnson scored in double figures in both games, including a career-best 31-point outburst in an 85-71 home win on Jan. 17. He followed with 18 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in the 78-72 win in the Vines Center on Feb. 17.
•    Junior guard Darrion Allen has scored in double figures in five of his past six games, averaging 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks per game during that span.
Allen already has a career-high eight double-figure scoring games this season, besting the seven he had as a freshman in 2013-14.
•    Allen has hit a three-pointer in seven consecutive games, including multiple treys in four of those games. He is shooting .500 (11-of-22) from three-point range during that span.
•    Big South preseason all-conference center Lotanna Nwogbo is averaging 15.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game on the road. He is shooting .540 (61-of-113) from the field in those games.
•    Nwogbo has scored in double figures in nine straight games and in 16 of 19 games this season.
•    Nwogbo is one of only two players in the Big South averaging at least 13.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game, joining Big South Preseason Player of the Year John Brown on that list.
•    Point guard Tra'Vaughn White has scored in double figures in back-to-back games, averaging 17.0 points during that span, both Longwood wins.
