Longwood University Athletics

2021 (Redshirt Junior): Led Lancers in points (38) and assists (22)... ranked fourth on squad with 16 goals... racked up a career-best four goals against William & Mary... Notched four assists against Old Dominion... tallied hat trick and five total points against Delaware State... tallied five points in four separate games... recorded at least one point in all 14 starts. 

2020 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in two games, making one start... Scored a goal in 13-7 win over Bryant... totaled four shots and one ground ball.

2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared and started in all 17 games...  totaled third most points on the team... scored 24 goals and tallied 24 assists on 52 shots... secured 19 ground balls and caused nine turnovers...  scored five goals in 15-8 win over East Carolina... notched eight multi-goal games tallied hat trick at VCU.

2018 (Freshman): Sat out for redshirt due to injury... Longwood Scholar-Athlete.

High School: A five-sport athlete at St. Maria Goretti High School, Taylor Blenckstone comes to Longwood after competing in soccer, cross country, basketball, lacrosse and swimming…as a freshman, Blenckstone was an First Team All-League and All-County performer in soccer and cross country as well as Second Team All-County performer in lacrosse…recorded 66 draw controls, scored 33 goals and added 15 assists in just five games as a freshman…as a sophomore she was a First Team All-League and All-County performer in lacrosse…senior year Taylor was First Team All-League and All-County in lacrosse as she finished second in the state in draw controls as well as setting the school’s swim record in the 200 medley relay.

Personal: Born Taylor Christian Blenckstone on Nov. 28, 1998…daughter of David and Kim Blenckstone…has one sibling, Adam…father, David, played lacrosse at the University of Delaware and her aunt, Jennie Boyce, played lacrosse and field hockey at Washington College…brother, Adam, played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. in 2008…majoring in kinesiology with a minor in business administration.
