Biography

2021 (Junior): Appeared in 14 games, making 11 starts... racked up 14 goals and 10 assists, one of just three Lancers to record double-digits in each... scored the game-winning goal against Gardner-Webb in a four-goal outing... recorded at least three points in four games... notched a season-best three assists on the road against American... scored twice against William & Mary... tallied two goals against Presbyterian... shot at an impressive .636 clip, scoring 14 times on just 22 shots.  

2020 (Sophomore): Limited to four games due to injury but started three of those…scored two goals and contributed four assists for six total points…added two ground balls and a caused turnover…had two assists in back-to-back games against Louisville (3/3) and VCU (3/7)…also scored against VCU and in a 15-14 win against Old Dominion (2/29).
 
2019 (Freshman): Named to the All-Big South second team as a freshman, only the third Lancer in program history to do so…played a prominent role in Longwood’s attack, amassing 21 goals, 12 assists and 33 points to help the Lancers to a 5-1 league record and a program-best No. 2 finish in the final standings…also contributed in the midfield with 17 ground balls, 19 draw controls and 10 caused turnovers…put 29 of her 41 shots on goal for a .707 clip…scored three of her goals on free position chances…started all 17 games and scored in 12 of those…had a season-best four goals in a 15-7 win at Wofford (3/3)…finished the year with multiple goals in her final three games, scoring twice against Campbell (4/17), twice against Presbyterian (4/20) and three times in a 12-9 loss to Winthrop in the semifinals of the Big South Championship…named to the Big South All-Tournament Team…was named Big South Freshman of the Week twice.

Prior to Longwood: Becomes a Lancer after a two-sport career at the Epsom Girl’s Grammar School in New Zealand…lettered in lacrosse as she won the 2017 Jess Evans Award for MVP of the U18 Nationals tournament with the Auckland U18 team…named an MVP of the New Zealand Secondary Schools tournament, co-captain for the school premiere team and U18 team and was nominated for the Auckland Sports Person of the Year in lacrosse in back-to-back seasons…part of a championship team in the Auckland League, Auckland Regionals Tournament and New Zealand Secondary Schools while winning National Championships for the Epsom Girls Grammar School, Auckland U18 team and Auckland Senior Women’s squads….part of the eighth-place New Zealand women’s national team at the 2017 Women’s World Cup.

Personal: Daughter of Bruce and Helen Fordyce…has two siblings (twin, Jodi – 17 and older sibling, Jena – 19)…grandmother (Elizabeth Shroff) was a captain of the New Zealand women’s hockey team…majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in biology.
