Jess Pham enters her first season as a full-time member in her role of director of operations and second season overall with the women’s basketball team.
In her role, Pham is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the program, team travel arrangements, ordering equipment, game day management and organizing film exchange between opposing teams. In addition, Pham is responsible for overseeing the program’s managers and editing film for coaching purposes.
In 2015-16, Pham served as the volunteer director of operations for the Lancers, spending 20-30 hours per week fulfilling her responsibilities with the team while maintaining a 21-credit course load. In her role, Pham assisted in the coordination of team travel, as well as assisting with game day operations and marketing efforts.
In the summer of 2016, Pham served as a women's assistant basketball camp director at Liberty University, assisting in all facets of organizing, promoting, and executing the 2016 Team Camp, Day Camp, and Elite Camp.
Pham has also served in the role of Athletics Department intern in the summer of 2015, assisting with women's basketball team camps. She helped create the internship program within the department based on the needs of Longwood coaches and administrators, assisting with budget planning and marketing efforts. In addition, Pham helped create a promotional video for The G.A.M.E.
Pham earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Exercise Science from Longwood in May of 2016.
