Longwood University Athletics

2022 (Senior): Basdikis earned a spot on the Big South All-Academic team following the 2022 season. She appeared in all 58 games, earning 55 starts with a .185 overall batting average. She finished with 17 runs, 12 stolen bases, 38 hits, 17 walks, a .244 slg%, and an on base percentage of .281. Basdikis hit her first career home run as a grand slam on Senior Day against Winthrop. She added seven RBIs, three doubles, and one triple to her final career stats.

2021 (Junior): Had breakout junior season that saw her named second team All-Big-South… appeared in 54 games making 53 starts… top five on team in hits (32), doubles (5) and runs batted in (20), and put-outs (61), led team in assists (83)

2020 (Sophomore): Started all 21 games, one of only three Lancers to start every contest…made 11 of those starts at third base, five in right field, two as the designated player and one at second base…hit in the Nos. 3-6 spot in the order, including eight at the No. 5 spot…hit .190 (11-for-58) with three doubles…swiped a team-high eight bases without getting caught once…drove in six runs and scored eight times…had multiple hits in three games, including a 2-for-3 performance against Niagara in which she drove in two runs, scored twice and doubled.
 
2019 (Freshman): Appeared in 45 games as a true freshman, starting two of those…also made four pitching appearances and did not allow a single earned run in her 5.1 innings of work…was a pinch-running specialist, stealing 12-for-15 bases and scoring 12 runs on just 19 at bats…hit .211 in those at bats with four hits, including one double…made her two starts at second base…first career hit was a double against Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 8…best outing on the mound came against Texas A&M Corpus Christi where she threw two no-hit innings out of the bullpen, striking out three in a 9-0 win.

Prior to Longwood: A three-time first-team All-Conference and All-Region selection …  Tabbed first-team All-Metro following her sophomore and junior campaigns … Batted .512 with 27 RBI and four home runs along with a .551 on-base percentage as a junior … Becomes the third member of her family to attend Longwood joining her cousins Bobbie Lugo (1987) and Valerie Hite (1985).
