2017 (Senior): 2017 Big South Tournament MVP … Candidate for the 2017 Senior CLASS Award …Named First-Team All-Big South, finishing runner-up in the voting for Pitcher of the Year … Named Third Team NFCA All-Southeast Region and Second Team VaSID … Named 2017 Big South Preseason Pitcher of the Year … Finished the season with a 2.86 ERA and a 15-10 overall record, allowing 76 runs, 62 earned, in 152.0 innings … Struck out 126 batters … Became Longwood’s all-time strikeout leader at Winthrop … Went 8-1 throughout her final 11 appearances, including 3-0 in the Big South Tournament … Earned the win in Longwood’s victory over USC Upstate to earn a berth into the NCAA Knoxville Regional Championship game … Posted a season-high 11 strikeouts against Virginia … Posted a no-hitter in Longwood’s 8-0 win over Gardner-Webb … Posted a 0.98 ERA in conference to finish second in the Big South … Held opposing Big South batters to a .217 batting average, best in the league.
 
2016 (Junior): 2016 Big South Pitcher of the Year … Named Third Team NFCA All-Southeast Region and First Team VaSID … Named 2016 Big South Preseason Pitcher of the Year … Finished fourth in Big South with 2.52 ERA … Allowed opposing batters to hit .221, ranked second in the Big South behind teammate Sydney Gay … Ranked fourth in the league with 194.1 innings pitched and had at least two starts every weekend throughout regular season … Struck out 181 batters, second most in the conference … 45 of her K’s came looking, fourth most in the league … Also, finished third in conference with 19 wins … Three-time Big South Pitcher of the Week, most of any pitcher in the league … Helped the Longwood pitching staff to its lowest ERA in the D-I era with a 2.29 team ERA … Helped Longwood rank among the top-20 in the nation in team-ERA … Combined with the Longwood pitching staff to strikeout 366 batters, eclipsing the former mark of 287.

2015 (Sophomore): 2015 Big South Pitcher of the Year … Named a second team NFCA All-Southeast Region and First Team VaSID … Finished the season as the Big South’s leader in wins (22), strikeouts (187), innings pitched (198.0), games started (32) and complete games (21) … Led the league in conference wins (14), strikeouts (107), innings pitched (99.1), games started (16) and complete games (11) … Pitched her second career no-hitter at Liberty (4/1) … Finished League action with a 14-3 record and 3.24 ERA … Earned Big South Pitcher of the Week two times this season … Her 22 wins is tied for fourth on the program’s all-time charts for wins in a single season … Posted 203 strikeouts, which tied the school record in single season strikeouts.

2014 (Freshman): Named VaSID All-State First Team Pitcher … Named Second Team All-Conference … Selected to the All-Freshman Team … Tallied a 20-6 record her freshman year with a 1.79 ERA … Had a total of 145 strikeouts and allowed 44 runs in 171.2 innings pitched … Started 24 of 34 games played.

High School: Four-year varsity pitcher at St. Margaret's … Totaled 678 career strikeouts ... Four-time All-League of Independent Schools (LIS) First Team selection … Three-time All-Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA) First Team honoree … Three-time recipient of her team’s highest batting average award and team MVP award … Two-time captain … Also played varsity volleyball for three years and varsity basketball for four years…Two-time All-League of Independent Schools (LIS) First Team Basketball selection … Named to the academic merit roll. 

Personal: Daughter of Chip and Lucie McCarthy … Father (Chip) was an All-American pole-vaulter at the University of Maryland … Majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science.
