2020 (Senior): Started 20 of 21 games…hitting either leadoff or No. 2 in the order in each of those games…hit No. 2 a team-high 17 times…played the majority of her games at second base and also made three starts in right field…led the team with five multi-hit games…also had a season-long hitting streak of five games, the second longest on the team behind only Sydney Jacobsen’s six…ended the year reaching base safely in six straight games…hit .271 (16-for-59) to finish second on the team in batting average…tied for the team lead with 11 runs scored…swiped 4-for-7 bases…made just two errors in her 21 games…ended the year on a five-game hitting streak in which she went 6-for-15 (.400) with three runs and a stolen base.
 
2019 (Junior): Appeared in 47 games, starting 25 of those…Made 17 of those start in the outfield and eight at second base…played primarily left field…hit .188 (9-for-48) with one double…nearly perfect on the base paths, stealing 15-for-16 bases…logged a .339 on base percentage with 11 walks compared to just six strikeouts…scored 18 times, coming around to cross the plate in more than 60 percent of her times reaching base safely…best stretch of the season came against Gardner-Webb in which she had a hit in every game and went 5-for-8 with four runs in the series.
 
2018 (Sophomore): A breakout season helped her earn All-Big South Second Team accolades … Also was named VaSID All-State Second Team … Played 53 games with 52 starts, all patrolling the middle of the Longwood infield at second base … Hit .325 with 16 RBI, 37 runs scored to rank third among Big South second baseman in batting average … Also worked 16 walks to finish with a .391 on-base percentage – second on the team … Had one home run, one triple and six doubles while leading Longwood with 21 stolen bases … Had nine multi-hit performances … Provided two extra inning go-ahead hits against Winthrop and Gardner-Webb.
 
2017 (Freshman): Appeared in 51 games with 49 starts, all patrolling the middle of the diamond at second base … Hit .197 with two RBI, 16 runs scored … Posted a .319 on-base percentage … Had three multi-hit games, including a three-hit day at Troy … Had a season-best nine game reached base streak.

Prep: Lettered in softball all four seasons York … Earned honorable mention all-conference honors following her freshman and sophomore campaign, before enjoying a breakout season in her junior year where she batted .406 … Earned 2015 first-team all-conference accolades, as well as all-region honors … In the classroom, Martinez earned academic honors in her freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years.
 
Personal: Daughter of Adam and Holly Martinez … Has five siblings, one older and four younger … Plans to pursue a major in exercise science.
