Mason Basdikis joined the Longwood Softball coaching staff in September 2022 after finishing her playing career with the Lancers in the spring.
Basdikis was was a four year player and three year starter in the infield at Longwood. She played at varying positions including third base, shortstop, and second base. She is sixth all-time in stolen bases in Longwood history with 61 to her name.
Basdikis was a Big South Second Team All-Conference selection in 2021 and a Big South All-Academic team member in 2022. She was also the recepient of the Big South Commissioner's Award in 2021.
Basdikis graduated from Longwood in the spring of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is currently working towards her Master's of Speech Pathology at Longwood.
