At Longwood: Fourth-year team member.

Junior: Appeared in 11 games, all as a pinch runner ... missed the majority of the season due to a hand injury ... scored four runs.

Sophomore: Appeared in 39 games off the bench ... hit .200 (4-20) with one home run and one double ... scored eight runs with three RBI ... one multi-hit game.

Freshman: Appeared in 32 games with 10 starts ... started six games as the designated player ... batted .121 (4-33) with three RBI.

High School: Played four years of softball for Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville, Va. ... named All-District and All-Region in 2007 and 2008 ... Velocity Sports Athlete of the Month in 2008 ... selected to the VHSCA All-Star Game in 2008 ... helped Loudoun Valley to the 2007 LVHS District Championship … also participated in cross country and basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Mike and Pam Latka ... worked as a camp counselor and played softball with the Richmond Ruckas during summer 2011.

Academics: Sociology major.
