2018-19: A fourth-year junior who will make his Longwood debut in 2018-19 after taking a developmental redshirt as a junior last season…a strong, athletic forward who can guard almost any position on the floor…strengths lie in his rebounding and defensive abilities…moves well around screens as a defender…possesses a high basketball IQ…adept at getting his teammates open.
 
2017-18: Sat out the season after transferring from Panola Community College.

2016-17 (Panola College): Played in 17 games for Panola Community College, helping the Ponies to a 26-9 overall record and a 15-4 mark in NJCAA Region XIV play, top in the North Division...averaged 0.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per game...shot .455 (5-of-11) from the floor...hit his lone three-point attempt of the season.

2015-16 (Loyola): Played in nine games and made one start for Division I Loyola...averaged 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game...hit 3-of-8 (.375) shots from the field...seven of his 13 rebounds were on the offensive glass...added two assists and a pair of steals.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Pope John Paul The Great Catholic High School...three-sport athlete, lettering twice in soccer and track...averaged a double-double on the hardwood as a junior and senior...turned in career-best averages of 15.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game as a senior to go along with 3.0 blocks...as a junior, averaged 10.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 5.0 assists...set his school's high jump record in track...named team MVP as a senior...captained the squad as a senior...also did a postgraduate year at Fishburne Military Academy.

Personal: Born Pernell Benson Adgei on Nov. 4, 1995...son of Chief Adgei and Hajia Danso...has a brother, Luke...majoring in criminal justice...aims to join the FBI, CSI or CIA.
