2021-22: Played at a high level of prep basketball in Miami…a natural playmaker with exceptional speed and athleticism who can put defenses on their heels…has good versatility with the ability to pass and score…thrives in an up-tempo style of play.
 
High School: Two-year varsity letterwinner at Miami Coral Park High School in Miami, Fla….named the Florida 7A Player of the Year…also tabbed Mr. Florida for the 7A class…as a senior, averaged 31.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game…as a junior, posted averages of 24.0 points, 7.5 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game…in just two seasons of varsity basketball, amassed 1,370 points…set a career high with 45 points in a single game…named to the All-Dade and all-state first teams…team captain…also attended Miami Palmetto in 2017-18 and Homestead High in 2016-17.
 
Personal: Son of Gary LaCount and Michelle Rodriguez…has four siblings: Amarri, Garren, Gary and Jarvis.
