2017-18: A former All-NEC guard from Mount St. Mary’s who returns to the floor for his final collegiate season after sitting out 2016-17 due to NCAA transfer rules…fifth-year senior who has NCAA Tournament experience…immediately becomes one of the top guards in the Big South and forms one of the conference’s most talented backcourt duos alongside Isaiah Walton…has the ability to score from all three levels…owns a career scoring average of 10.9 points per game and a career three-point percentage of .342…possesses immense athleticism...an aggressive rebounder who was among Mount St. Mary's leaders in that category...cousin of fellow Lancer JaShaun Smith.
 
2016-17: Sat out the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules after transferring from Mount St. Mary’s.

2015-16 (Mount St. Mary's): An All-NEC third team selection for the second straight year...led Mount St. Mary's in scoring for the second straight year with 13.8 points per game...also added a team-high 42 steals while ranking second on the team with 4.5 rebounds per game...finished seventh in the NEC in points per game...also led the Mount with 53 made three-point field goals, shooting .312 (53-of-170) from beyond the arc...shot .403 (166-of-412) from field goal range, leading the team in both made field goals and field goal attempts...scored in double figures in 27 of 33 games, including six 20-point efforts...amassed a team-leading 1,031 minutes on the court despite starting just 20 of 33 games...added 1.7 assists per game.

2014-15 (Mount St. Mary's): Named to the All-NEC third team as a sophomore...led the team with 11.9 points per game despite starting just four of 28 contests...the team leader in made field goals and field goal attempts, shooting .420 (116-of-276) from the floor...added 54 three-pointers on a .360 (54-of-150) shooting percentage...scored in double figures 18 times, including 16 off the bench...posted five 20-point games, including a streak of three straight during a three-game winning streak against Bryant, LIU Brooklyn and Fairleigh Dickinson from Feb. 14-21...team was 11-7 when he scored in double figures...swiped 20 steals over his final 11 games.

2013-14 (Mount St. Mary's): Ranked fifth on the team in scoring as a true freshman, averaging 7.0 points per game...started 15 of 31 games, averaging 22.1 minutes...started the final nine games of the season during which the Mount went 6-3...scored in double figures 11 times...shot .378 (71-of-188) from the floor and .361 (48-of-133) from three-point range...added 20 steals and 21 assists. 

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Friendship Collegiate...averaged 20.0 points per game as a senior to leading the program to a 20-12 record...named the All-Capital Beltway first team.

Personal: Son of Gloria Ashe...born Byron Kelly Ashe on Aug. 18, 1995...has three siblings, Clinton, Ceriese and Robert.
