Biography
2020-21: A towering presence in the post who has made immense strides since joining the Lancers in 2018…a latecomer to the sport who has shown immense growth since first picking up a basketball in high school...a relentless worker who has significantly improved his fundamentals and made major strength gains since arriving on campus flashes explosiveness when attacking the hoop…can be a difficult matchup in the post due to his combination of size and physicality...has the ability to become an elite rebounder and shot-blocker in the Big South.
2019-20: Named winner of the Longwood athletics’ department’s Academic PRIDE Award, which goes to a student-athlete who demonstrates outstanding work ethic in his or her academic pursuits…after redshirting during his first season with the program in 2018-19, opened his first collegiate season in Longwood’s starting lineup…started the first 12 games of the season and averaged 14.2 minutes per game…scored Longwood’s first points of the season with a layup 42 seconds into the season-opening win over Marymount (Nov. 5)…hit 3-of-5 field goal against Marymount en route to a season-high six points…played a season-high 29 minutes at Morgan State, chipping in five points and three rebounds…grabbed four rebounds in 14 minutes at Northern Illinois (Nov. 18) and matched that output on the boards again at North Carolina A&T (Dec. 4)…did not play in the final 18 games of the season.
2018-19: Sat out the 2018-19 season as a true freshman.
High School: Set Valley Forge Military Academy's single-season records for both blocks and rebounds...averaged a double-double in each of his final two seasons...as a senior, captained the team and averaged 13.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game...helped Valley Forge to a 25-6 record that season along with the BAL regular season championship and the PIAA District I title...as a junior, averaged 10.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game to lead Valley Forge to a 26-5 mark and three championships: the BAL regular season, the BAL tournament and the PIAA District I...a member of the National Honor Society and a recipient of the Gold Star award.
