Biography

2015: A midfielder, O’Connor returns for her senior season as one of the most experienced players on the Longwood squad… has started 48 of 60 career appearances…  two career points, both coming off assists in the 2013 season… a dynamic attacking player in the midfield… is very influential on flow of game.

2014: Started 12 of the 17 games she played as a junior… recorded three shots, one on goal… manned a holding midfielder role.

2013: Started 17 of 22 games on the backline... registered two assists, one at American and one versus Davidson.

2012: Started 19 of 21 games played … registered six shots, including two on goal, for a .333 shot on goal percentage.

High School: Was a four-year member of the varsity field hockey team at North Stafford ... two-time First-Team All-District selection ... named First-Team All-Area and Second-Team All-Region as a senior ... selected First-Team All-Region as a junior ... led her squad to a district championship in 2009 and to the state finals in 2009 and 2010 ... also played varsity tennis for one year.

Personal: Daughter of Will and Trish O’Connor ... worked at a fitness club and trained for the upcoming season during the summer of 2013 ... majoring in communication-mass media studies.
