2015: Longwood’s leading scorer returns to pace a dynamic attack… currently leads the team with 20 career goals, 17 career assists (tied ninth in school history) and 57 career points… has recorded at least five goals and five assists in all three seasons at Longwood… great athlete and all-around forward play… extremely competitive with a huge desire to win.

2014: All-MAC First Team and VaSID All-State Second Team selection… scored a career-high and team-best eight goals… started all 18 games… put 21 of 38 shots on target, scoring on 21-percent of her attempts… led the team with 21 points, matching her career-best… scored the game-winning goal in the season opener versus Holy Cross… recorded a point in 10 of Longwood’s 18 games.

2013: All-NorPac East Division… Started 16 of 22 games... scored five goals and logged five assists... put 24 of 30 shots on goal.

2012: Started 19 of 21 games played … tied for first on the team with seven assists and tied for third with seven goals to finish third overall with 21 total points … registered 21 shots, including 12 on goal, for a .571 shot on goal percentage … notched a personal-high three points on two occasions, at Miami (Ohio) (9.8) and against Liberty (9.18) … logged her first-career point with an assist at Lock Haven (8.26) … named a 2012 Longwood Scholar Athlete.

High School: Member of the Kempsville varsity field hockey team from 2008-11 ... selected Kempsville’s 2011-12 Female Athlete of the Year ... two-time All-Beach District First Team ... senior captain ... earned  Second-Team All-Eastern Region as a senior ... won the 2011-12 Indoor National Championship ... four year participant with the U.S. Futures program and helped win the 2010 National Futures Championship ... 2010 National Field Hockey Festival gold medalist ... also participated in track and soccer ... named 2012 Indoor Track Rookie of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Vernon and Karen Burris ... mother (Karen) played volleyball at UNC Greensboro ... stayed a Longwood to prepare for the upcoming season during the summer of 2013 ... majoring in exercise science.
