Prior to Longwood: VanLuvender is a Havertown, Penn. Native who attended Haverford High School, lettering four years in Field Hockey, earning the title captain of her team as a senior. She’s a defender/midfielder combo player who will major in Biology.
 
Personal:
Daughter of Richard and Dorene. Has four siblings, Kylie, 24, Lea, 22, RJ, 19, and Tyler, 17. Her sister Lea VanLuvender ’20 also played field hockey at Longwood, while her brother RJ plays rugby at Mount St Mary’s University.
