2016: Made 23 appearances, including lone career start ... posted a 4.21 ERA and went 4-2 with 45 strikeouts to 16 walks in 43.1 innings ... tied for team lead with five saves ... stranded a team-high 30 of 37 inherited runners ... struck out a team-high 43 batters in 41.1 innings out of the bullpen ... had a 3.70 ERA out of the bullpen across 22 appearances ... paced the Big South conference with eight runners picked off ... recorded two-pitch save by collecting final out in win against No. 22 Coastal Carolina (3/18).

2015: Made a team-high 27 appearances, all out of the bullpen, with a 2-1 record and one save with a 4.91 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched … led the team with nine games finished … struck out 33 batters with 10 walks and held batters to a .250 batting average … allowed one home run in 144 ABs … pitched two or more innings in nine outings … struck out a season-high four batters twice (2/25 at James Madison, 4/8 against William and Mary).

2014: Made nine appearences ... had a 3.14 ERA and allowed one home run.

High School: Standout at Stafford High School … all-district at shortstop as a junior and senior, earning Team MVP honors as a senior … hit .484 during high school career … also played basketball.

Personal: Son of Ellen and Kyle Jones … mother played basketball at Wake Forest University … grandfather, Buck Jones, played basketball at Virginia Tech … uncle, Tim Jones, played basketball at the University of Mary Washington … worked for "Crank It Up" lawncare during summer 2013.

Academics: Majoring in kinesiology.
