Career: Enters senior season as Big South Preseason Player of the Year...two-time All-Big South first-team pick...one of the top hitters and most durable catchers in the Big South, sporting a .318 career batting average and 172 starts since her freshman year...caught every inning of the 2018 season.

2018 (Junior): Named to the All-Big South first team for the second straight year…led Longwood in nearly every offensive category…caught every inning of the season and hit third in the batting order every time…ranked fifth in the Big South in batting average (.371), fourth in on base percentage (.467) and seventh in slugging percentage (.642)…also ranked among the league’s top 10 in hits (59), runs (40), triples (4), walks (31) and total bases (102)…amassed a team-high 18 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games…drove in four runs twice…ended the year on a season-long seven-game hitting streak…reached base safely in 21 consecutive games, the team’s longest streak of the season…hit .460 in Big South play, the second highest mark in the conference…led the conference in triples (4) in Big South games and ranked among the league’s top three in conference-only totals for hits (29), RBI (23) and total bases (53).

2017 (Sophomore): Named first-team All-Big South in breakout season that saw her lead the team in batting average (.295), on-base percentage (.427) and slugging (.434) … Caught all 59 games for the Lancers … Also, led the squad in doubles (15), runs scored (28) and walks (40) … Named to the Big South All-Tournament Team after hitting .429 with six runs, five RBI … Had a team-leading 14 multi-hit games, including a four-hit game against Liberty … Also, recorded five multi-RBI games … Enjoyed a team-best 13 game reached base streak and had a season-high eight game hitting streak.

2016 (Freshman): Batted .292 in 60 games played, 59 games started … Made 58 starts at catcher and notched 12 extra base hits … Recorded 32 RBI throughout the season … Recorded a .393 slugging percentage with a .397 on-base percentage, which was third on the squad … Had a fielding percentage of .986 … Her 32 RBI was second most on the squad … Her nine doubles was third on the team, while her 29 walks was also third on the squad … One of four players to play in all 60 games with at least 59 starts … Had 11 multi-hit games with six games with multiple RBI … Ended the season with a 17-game reached base streak.

High School: Hit .420 or better in each of her four seasons, including three straight seasons with a batting average of .500 or better to set the North Johnston school record for career batting average … Drove in 39 runs, while recording a slugging percentage of 1.086 as a junior … Notched a .632 batting average as a senior, which set the North Johnston school record for highest batting average in a single season … Named to the All-State team following her sophomore and junior seasons … Earned All-Conference honors in three seasons as a member of the North Johnston softball team … Named team captain and earned team MVP honors following her senior campaign.

Personal: The daughter of Chris and Krista Batten … Also, has a younger sister, Blayke … Plans to major in Biology … Named to National Honors Society … Lettered in softball, as well as basketball all four years in high school.
