2015-16: Veteran forward who provides a defensive presence at the basket…able to fill the stretch-four role with the ability to step out and shoot…high-energy presence in the locker room and emotional leader on the floor…can play the four or five spots, spelling starting center Lotanna Nwogbo or pairing with him to form one of the Big South’s top interior duos.
 
2014-15: Played in Longwood’s final eight games of the season, averaging 4.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game…shot .519 (14-of-27) from the field and .400 (2-of-5) from three-point range…hit 7-of-9 (.778) free throws…added six blocks and four steals in his eight games…grabbed 10 offensive rebounds…sank at least one field goal in seven of eight games…scored eight points and grabbed nine rebounds in 19 minutes during a win over Campbell (2/28)…hit 2-of-3 three-pointers in his Longwood debut against Charleston Southern (2/14).

2013-14 (Palm Beach Community College): Started 23 of 29 games, averaging 9.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game ... shot .493 from the floor ... logged 10 double-figure scoring games and three double-doubles ... hauled in 10-plus rebounds four times.

2012-13: Did not play college basketball.

2011-12 (Old Dominion): Started three of 27 games, averaging 8.7 minutes, 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game ... shot .429 (24-of-56) from the floor ... added 18 assists, nine blocks and 14 steals.

High School: Averaged 10.1 points per game at Montverde Academy, helping the team to a 21-4 record and a No. 14 national ranking ... also played high school ball at Trinity Catholic where he was named county player of the year by Ocala Star-Banner ... Played for the Florida Rams travel basketball team.

Personal: Son of Jason Pimentel and Melanie Pigott ... has two sisters, Fashun and Viongellie ... father played pro basketball in Puerto Rico ... cousin, Drayton Florence, played 11 years in the National Football League as a defensive back.
