Biography

Coach Bolding: “Brant enters his senior year as one of Longwood’s all-time greatest players. He dominates every aspect of the game and arguably is the greatest clutch player I ever have coached, and I’ve had some clutch players. Brant will anchor the Lancers, both as lead captain and bell cow player. We expect Brant to project very nicely for professional baseball. When Frank Robinson, the only major leaguer ever to win the Triple-Crown in both leagues was playing for Cincinnati, and the owner of another club inquired as to how many of his players it might take to obtain Robinson, the Red’s owner replied instantly: ‘Forget it; I wouldn’t give you Frank for your whole team!’ This is precisely the way I feel about Brant Christopher Jones.”
