Before Longwood: Four year member of the lacrosse and field hockey team at Quince Orchard High School ... Named to the All-County Second Team her junior season ... Helped the Quince Orchard field hockey team to a Maryland 4a State Championship in 2006 ... Guided the lacrosse team to four consecutive regional appearances.

Personal: Born Shannon Holliday to Frank and Tammy Holliday ... Older sister Jennifer is a senior goalkeeper for the Lancers.
