RADFORD, Va. — Radford came all the way back from down 3-1 to beat the Longwood women's tennis team in Big South play on Wednesday.

The Lancers opened the day winning the doubles point with victories on courts two and one, respectively. First Alexandra Magia and Feline van Eijkelenburg topped Rachel Ekanem and Natalia Reimer, 6-2, then Karina Rizvanova and Elizaveta Gnilozubova defeated Julia Abrams and Lexi Smolder, 6-4.

Phoebe Mitchell began singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Brooke Murphy at No. 4.

The Lancers made it a 3-1 lead when Magia topped Reimer, 6-2, 6-4.

Radford won the final three matches to take the dual.

Radford improved 3-6 overall and 1-0 in the Big South, dropping Longwood to 5-7 and 0-2.

Longwood is back in action Friday at George Mason at 1 p.m.
