FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood hosts Winthrop on national television in the final broadcast of the Big South Wildcard on ESPNU on Thursday night.
 
The game is the final home game of the season for the Lancers, and it will be Fan Appreciation Night at the Joan Perry Brock Center, with the game presented by The Yeatman Group. Wear white to white out the JPB.
 
The first 150 students will receive free t-shirts, which are presented by the Student Government Association (SGA), and there are free t-shirts for the first 200 community members.
 
Also, as a part of Fan Appreciation Night, there will be $1 beers while supplies last, with a limit of three per person.

•    The game features the Big South Trophy Tour, with the Big South championship trophy on display at the Joan Perry Brock Center.
•    Longwood is 12-3 at home this season and 25-6 over the past two years at the Joan Perry Brock Center.
•    Since opening the Joan Perry Brock Center, the Lancers are second in the Big South in attendance.
•    The Lancers are in sole possession of fifth in the Big South standings, but they are one game back of fourth and one game ahead of seventh.
•    Longwood has four players averaging double figures in scoring in Big South play: Kyrell Luc, Michael Christmas, Colby Garland and Elijah Tucker.

PREVIOUS GAME
•    Longwood fell 87-82 in a tight game at UNC Asheville on Saturday.
•    The Lancers shot 50 percent from the floor and had three players score in double figures, with Johan Nziemi leading the way with 19 points in his return from injury.
•    However, UNC Asheville's Jordan Marsh and Josh Banks combined for 59 points, and the Bulldogs shot 54 percent from the floor and 14-28 from three.
•    Colby Garland had a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists for Longwood, and Michael Christmas added 13 points.
•    Longwood had 24 assists on 31 made shots as well.
•    The Lancers led late in the contest, but Jordan Marsh hit an array of tough shots to keep Asheville close before putting the home side ahead for good with less than a minute to play.
