SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Longwood senior men's tennis player Timéo Puech saw his stay at the ITA Conference Masters Championship come to a close Saturday in the consolation quarterfinals.
Puech dropped the contest in straight sets to Nikola Puntaric of Northern Illinois. After a hard-fought first-set tiebreaker that Puntaric won, 7-6 (6), the Slovenian cruised in the second, 6-0, for the victory.
Puech closes his fall season 12-3 over in singles action and 9-6 in doubles.
Longwood's spring 2026 schedule will be announced at a later date.
