THE OPENING TIP
•    Longwood wraps up a two-game road trip with a Saturday afternoon matchup at Charleston Southern.
•    The Lancers currently sit third in the Big South standings with one half of conference play complete.
•    Seven different players have led Longwood in scoring in their eight true road games.
•    The Lancers average 79 points per game, their highest average in seven seasons under Griff Aldrich, and the team has scored more than 80 points 12 times this season.

LAST TIME OUT
•    Longwood fell in a back-and-forth shootout at Gardner-Webb on Wednesday night, 92-87.
•    Kyrell Luc had a career night, pouring in a career best 25 points to lead Longwood, but Anthony Selden answered for the Runnin' Bulldogs with 27 points on 9-11 shooting.
•    Michael Christmas added 19 points, including four triples, and Johan Nziemi (13 points) and Colby Garland (12 points) also scored in double figures.
•    Elijah Tucker led Longwood with 10 boards.
•    For GWU, Darryl Simmons II (19 points), Pharell Boyogueno (15 points), Jamaine Mann (13 points) and Shahar Lazar (10 points) scored in double figures.
•    The two teams traded the lead back and forth for much of the contest, but Gardner-Webb took a late lead and held on in the waning minutes of the contest.
