FARMVILLE, Va. –Thanksgiving may be over, but Longwood men's and women's basketball have a veritable feast of basketball on tap for the weekend at the Joan Perry Brock Center, where they are a combined 7-2 this season.
 
With eight games over four days, there will be plenty of hoops as the Lancer men play twice, and the women host the Shirley Duncan Classic from Friday through Sunday. The Classic will feature six games in three days between Longwood, William & Mary, South Carolina State and McNeese.
 
The action starts on Thursday when the Longwood men take on Maryland Eastern Shore at 7 p.m. The game is sponsored by the Southside Family YMCA, and free belt bags will be given to students while supplies last.
 
Friday morning, Longwood opens the Shirley Duncan Classic at 11 a.m. against South Carolina State for Education Day. Students from local schools will cheer on the Lancers at the Joan Perry Brock Center.
 
The late game that day features a fun matchup between William & Mary and McNeese at 2 p.m.
 
Saturday, Longwood will take on William & Mary at 4 p.m., with the game sponsored by the Bank of Charlotte County. The Lancers will host a Teddy Bear Toss, and fans can bring a stuffed animal to the game for one FREE ticket! That night, McNeese will face South Carolina State.
 
During the Longwood game, fans can toss their plush toys onto the court at halftime, and all stuffed animals will be donated to the Teddy Bear Brigade in the Gleaning For The World Charity.
 
Sunday provides the exclamation point to the weekend with three games in the afternoon/evening. First, William & Mary takes on South Carolina State at 1 p.m., and then the Lancer women wrap up the Shirley Duncan Classic against McNeese at 3:30 p.m.
 
The Lancer men take the court in the nightcap when they host Mary Baldwin at 6:30 p.m.
