FARMVILLE, Va. -- Longwood opens up a four-game homestand to begin December following a four-game swing away from home.

THE OPENING TIP
•    Longwood returns home to open a four game homestand, beginning with Regent University on Sunday afternoon.
•    The Lancers wrapped up the 25th annual Paradise Jam in the Third/Fifth place game against Kansas State.
•    Kyrell Luc was named to the Paradise Jam All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the event.
•    Longwood is ranked 178th in the Kenpom advanced analytics rankings, one of six Big South schools inside the top 205.
•    The Lancers take on a Regent team that is in its exploratory year to move from NCCAA competition to NCAA Division III. Regent will take on Methodist University on Saturday night.
•    The team's six-game winning streak to start the season was the sixth time the Lancers have posted a five-game winning streak under head coach Griff Aldrich.
 
LAST TIME OUT
•    Longwood fell to a hot-shooting Kansas State team that went 11-20 from three to take down the Lancers 80-64.
•    Coleman Hawkins led the charge, going 5-7 from downtown to power Kansas State as four Wildcats scored in double figures.
•    Longwood had three players score in double digits, with Kyrell Luc leading the way with 15 points while Colby Garland added 13 and Johan Nziemi chipped in 11.
•    The Lancers refused to go away throughout the game despite the threes from Kansas State thanks to a 19-5 advantage in free throw attempts.
•    Longwood led early, and the two sides traded the lead back and forth in the first half.
•    A late flurry gave Kansas State the halftime lead, but Longwood trimmed it to five early in the second half.
•    KSU answered and slowly pulled away, turning aside Longwood's repeated attempts to get back into the game.
