WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Longwood women's tennis team took on Mount Olive in singles action to wrap up the Seahawk Ocean Classic on Sunday at the UNCW Courts.
Karina Rizvanova began the day with a 7-5, 6-2 victory against Victoria Calle. Feline an Eijkelenburg followed with a 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 win over Lara Stamereilers, before
Elizaveta Gnilozubova defeated Julie Jagiella, 6-0, 6-1.
Alexandra Magia dispatched Claudia Cerdan, 6-1, 6-2, and
Kashmira Manohar topped Sandra Riecken, 6-3, 6-0.
Alexis Broderick then outlasted Nina Bernier in three sets, 6-3,3-6 10-6, to close the Lancers' account in the event.
Longwood finished the weekend with a 24-10 record (.706).
