FARMVILLE, Va. – On Tuesday, November 26, Longwood women's basketball is hosting a food drive for FACES Food Pantry.
 
Fans can bring two canned food items in exchange for a ticket when the Lancer host Elon on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
 
FACES Food Pantry is a local "Tier 1" Food Agency that provides food to households in need throughout the greater Farmville community. FACES distributed approximately 1,000,000 pounds of food in 2023 and served 1,100 households throughout the community.
 
The Lancer women are hosting Elon in the midst of a five-game homestand, with the team off to its best start in more than a decade. The team's 4-2 record through six games is also one of the top records in the state.
