ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Longwood women's tennis team competed play in the 2024 Big South Individual Championship at Rock Hill Tennis Center on Saturday.

The Lancers picked up one win on the day as Emilia Roslund from Gardner-Webb forfeited her match in the consolation singles draw to Elizaveta Gnilozubova. 

Also in consolation singles, Karina Rizvanova fell to Elizabeth Tindera of UNC Asheville, 6-2, 6-2. 

In consolation doubles, the Bulldogs' Louise Booker and Ari Siegel topped Rizvanova and Alexandra Magia, 8-5.

The Lancers close the fall season next Friday-Sunday at the Seahawk Ocean Classic, hosted by UNCW.
