Following Longwood's opening win, the Dukes went on to sweep singles play. Holden Koons got things started with a win over Cagigas at No. 1, and the rest of his JMU teammates followed suit.
Ernest Rocabert battled to a seventh point in his first set at No. 4, but his loss sealed the dual meet victory for JMU.
