• Longwood opens the Big South Tournament against Campbell
• The Lancers have earned a first-round bye for a fourth straight season. The team had never had a bye through its first six seasons in the Big South.
• Longwood had a pair of All-Conference selections for a second straight year, with
Isaiah Wilkins earning All-Big South First Team Honors while
DeShaun Wade was named All-Big South Honorable Mention.
Jesper Granlund earned an All-Academic Team nod.
• Wilkins became the first player in team history to earn back-to-back All-Big South First Team honors. Wade also earned All-Big South Honorable Mention for a second straight season.

Last Time Out
• Longwood battled but ultimately fell in the final game in Willett Hall to close out the regular season to UNC Asheville 76-66.
• The Lancers jumped out to an early lead, buoyed by a loud and rowdy sellout crowd.
• UNC Asheville only missed five times after halftime though to vault ahead of the Lancers.
• Fletcher Abee epitomized the day for the Bulldogs, making his first seven shots from the floor to lead UNC Asheville with 20 points.

• Longwood enters the Big South Tournament as the No. 2 seed, the second-best finish in the program's Big South history.
• The Lancers now have 20 wins for a second straight season, marking the first time the team has done so in program history, regardless of level.
• Longwood is the only team in the Big South riding back-to-back 20-win seasons, and the team's 46 wins in the past two seasons are five more than the next closest team in UNC Asheville.

Isaiah Wilkins (First Team) and
DeShaun Wade (Honorable Mention) became the first Lancers in the Big South era to earn All-Big South honors in back-to-back years. The last player to earn such recognition is back-to-back years was Antwan Carter, who was a three-time All-DI-Independent selectionf from 2010-12. Tristan Carey was an All-DI-Independent selection in 2012 and an All-Big South Honorable Mention in 2014.
• The Lancer bench mob has played a big part in the team's success this year. The team's reserves lead the Big South and rank 14th nationally with 27.7 points per game.
• The Lancers lead the Big South in turnover margin (+2.6). That mark is 40th in the nation.
• The Lancer defense is second in the Big South in turnovers forced per game (14.4).
• Meanwhile, the Lancer offensive only turns it over 11.8 times per game, the second-best mark in the Big South.
• The team has won the turnover battle 19 times this year. The team is 14-6 in those games.
• Longwood's defense only surrenders 65.7 points per game, the third-best mark in the Big South and 64th in the nation.
• The Lancers have also outrebounded their opponents on the season and lead the Big South in rebounding margin (+3.5).
