  • Kevin Warunek will make another day two start for the Lancers. Warunek is currently seventh in the conference in ERA, sixth in earned runs allowed and walks allowed and first in losses with zero
  • Andrew Melnyk looks to build off his strong start at High Point and give his team a chance to win on Saturday. The junior southpaw has allowed two or les runs in three of his last four starts and has gone six innings twice this season

Players to watch

  • Jack Schnell, currently second in the Big South in doubles, has been one of the more consistent batters in the Lancers lineup and also ranks 9th in the conference in batting average and RBI. Schnell led the team in last weeks contests where he batted .368 with seven hits
  •  Andrew Potojecki has won five straight starts on the mound and is the reigning Big South pitcher of the week. Potojecki has emerged as a true ace and continuously deals and competes every time he's on the mound. The Danville native is top 10 in nearly every pitching category and has the second most wins in the country with six
