Longwood's Cole Taylor will be starting his first career game on the mound

Hunter Gilliam is coming off of a week that saw him blast two more home runs and added two RBI. The farmville native now has six homeruns and finished the weekend on a three game hit streak
Michael Peterson has started every game for the Lancers and is currently enjoying a .395 batting average. A dangerous base runner, Peterson already has nine stolen bases this season, and is yet to be caught. Peterson is first in the Big South in stolen bases, and fourth in Division 1.
