The Opening Tip:
  • Longwood hosts its first Big South contest of the season against the Campbell Camels.
  • The Camels are coming off a season that saw them finish 23-8 (15-3 Big South), falling to Longwood in the Big South Championship game and advancing to the first round of the WNIT.
  • Today's game will mark the 30th all-time Division-I matchup between the Lancers and the Camels. The two schools faced one another three times during the 2021-22 season, with Campbell coming out victorious in the regular season twice, but fell to Longwood in the conference championship game.
