FARMVILLE, Va. - Lancer Central is making its great return in the Spring of 2022 with its first episode recapping the history-making seasons for both the women and men's basketball programs. 

New year, but still the same goal. Each Longwood basketball program has made great stride within their program, accomplishing things that haven't been done for a decade in some cases. Longwood is celebrating their 10th anniversary of being a part of the Big South this year and the winter in showcasing their worth. In this episode, a fan favorite segment highlighting the top three plays of the previous week returns with plays you will want to reminisce on. Lancer Central's Victoria Coleman recapped the entire men's basketball season as the team represents the best conference, and overall, record in the division one era.

Lancer Central is entirely filmed, edited and produced by Longwood University Communications students. This week's episode is brought to you all by the newest communication team member Victoria Coleman as part of a team with Will Johnson, Kris Bryant and Trevin Bowles. The show is filmed inside the department's state-of-the-art production studio located in French Hall. Lancer Central is a collaborative effort between the Communication Studies program and the Longwood Athletics Department.
