FARMVILLE, Va. – Longwood baseball has adjusted the schedule for its final homestand of the regular season against Charleston Southern next Thursday and Friday, May 20-21, at Buddy Bolding Stadium.
 
The Lancers will now host the Buccaneers in a three-game set beginning with a 1 p.m. doubleheader Thursday and following with a 1 p.m. single game Friday. All three games will air live on ESPN+, while WVHL 92.9 Kickin' Country FM in Farmville will also broadcast game one of Thursday's twinbill.
 
Friday will also serve as Senior Day for the Lancers, who will honor their senior class with an on-field ceremony prior to first pitch.
 
Longwood is in the midst of its hottest stretch of the season, winning six of its past eight games while tagging at least 10 hits in all but one of those eight contests. The Lancers are averaging 8.4 runs per game and hitting .348 as a team during that span.
