Juan Munoz is a versatile scorer and distributor on the court for Longwood men's basketball, but many may not know his talents off the court. Longwood's leading scorer from a season ago sat down to answer some fun questions to let fans get to know one of the top point guards in the Big South.
Why did you choose Longwood?
"I thought it was a good choice for my basketball career and for a career after basketball."
What is your favorite memory on the court?
"There have been a lot. I would say probably after we beat Richmond."
What is an interesting fact most people don't know about you?
"I'm a really good singer and dancer—I really just don't like to show it off."
Best song you can perform?
"You name it. Country, pop, rap, R&B, anything."
Any other hidden talents?
"I'm a really good golfer."
What's on your pregame playlist?
"It's either Drake or R&B. I don't really have a go-to song, just one of those genres."
If you could have dinner with one person, who would it be?
"Probably Drake or Michelle Obama. I'm just fascinated by them."
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
"To never get hurt—that would be my No. 1."
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
"Steak and mashed potatoes."
