FARMVILLE, Va. -- Wednesday was a great day for a run in Farmville, and Longwood's men's and women's cross country programs took advantage with a trip down the historic High Bridge Trail.

LongwoodLancers.com joined the teams and captured the sights and sounds of practice for the latest video in this year's "Sights & Sounds" series. 

The Lancers return 11 letterwinners for the 2020-21 season, with seven on the men's side and four on the women's. Among that group are women's frontrunners Casey Williams and Grace Puleo, and men's pack leaders from 2019 Sage Church, Nick Howell and Sam Sager.

Both teams are in their second season under head coach Brooke Craig, who served the team as an assistant coach in 2019 before taking over as head coach this past January.
