Thursday's Men's Basketball Home Opener Versus Regent Postponed

FARMVILLE, Va. -- As a precautionary measure following a potential positive COVID-19 test by an individual not affiliated with Longwood University, the Lancer men's basketball team's home opener against Regent scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. has been postponed to a later date in the 2020-21 season.
The Lancers' home opener in Willett Hall will now shift to this Tuesday's matchup against future Big South partner North Carolina A&T. That game, and all other Longwood athletics events, remain subject to COVID-19 safety and testing guidelines established in the NCAA's Core Principles of Resocialization for College Basketball.​​
