Lancers Pick Up TV Game at Wake Forest, Shift 2020-21 Debut to Nov. 26

FARMVILLE, Va. – Following the departure of Alabama State from the four-team Mako Medical Wake Forest Classic, Longwood men's basketball's 2020-21 season opener has been shifted to Thursday, Nov. 26, at noon against Delaware State in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Wake Forest, host of the now-three-team tournament that includes Delaware State and head coach
Griff Aldrich's third-year edition of the Lancers, also announced that Friday's tournament finale between Longwood and Wake Forest at 7 p.m. will be televised live on ACC Network.
Both Longwood games will also air live on the radio courtesy of WVHL 92.9 Kickin' Country FM in Farmville, Va.
Following the Mako Medical Wake Forest Classic, Longwood will return to Farmville for its home opener against Regent on Dec. 3 in Willett Hall. The team will not host fans for the game but will stream the contest live on ESPN+ and 92.9 FM.
