• Securing their fourth victory in Big South play, Longwood defeated USC Upstate on the road 70-62. The Lancers finished with all five starters in double-figures with Kyla McMakin leading the offense with 16 points.
• Joining McMakin in double-figures was Tra'Dayja Smith (14), Dayna Rouse (12), Anne-Hamilton LeRoy (11), and Akila Smith (10). The last time Longwood finished with 4+ double-figure scorers was February 23, 2019, against Hampton.

• Kyla McMakin has made an immediate impact for the Lancers offense and is the No. 2 scorer in the Big South conference averaging 15.9 points per game.
• All-Big South Dayna Rouse leads the conference in field goal percentage (.533) and ranks in the top 10 in the conference in scoring (15.2 per game), rebounding (6.5 per game), free throw percentage (.789), and blocks (1.6 per game).
