If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
To fly because I'd be able to get places quickly and I wouldn't' be late anywhere. That would be useful. Also with travelling, I went to Greece this summer, so it wouldn't take like eight hours to get there.
Â
What's one sport you've always wanted to try?
Gymnastics. I feel like they're able to do a lot of cool tricks and they're flexible, which is not something I'm as good at. It's a lot different than field hockey, so it'd be a fun sport to try.
Â
If you won the lottery what would be your first purchase?
I'd probably give money back to my parents because of all they've done for me.
Â
What's been your favorite or most interesting class at Longwood?
I liked honors writing and research my freshman year with Dr. Heather Lettner-Rust. She was a really good professor. We did a research paper at the end of the semester about how university writing applies for your major. At the time I was undeclared, but I am a bio major now, so I wrote it as if I had already decided. It was just interesting to go from typical English writing to science writing like APA and to see how the style and expectations that come with writing for biology and sciences change.
Â
Name three things on your bucket list.
I want to go to all 50 states. I'm afraid of heights, so go bungee jumping or something to get out of my element. Running a marathon is another big goal of mine.
Â
What are your career goals?
I'd like to be a physician's assistant ideally. After graduating from Longwood, I'd like to go to a PA program and hopefully be a graduate assistant for a field hockey team while going to PA school too. That's my ultimate goal
Â
What's the best vacation you've ever taken?
This past summer I went to Greece with my family, and we went on a cruise. We went to Santorini, Mykonos, Olympia, and Athens, and it was beautiful.
Â
Do you and/or your teammates have any pregame superstitions?
Before every game we all get in a big circle and we're dead silent. Then one person starts squeezing the next person's hand so it wraps around and gets back to the start, and we all cheer and get excited in the locker room. Â
Â
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?
I'd have to say fruit.
Â
What's one thing you want to do or be a part of before leaving Longwood?
Winning a MAC championship.
